There were, of course, some things that I didn’t like concerning changes to characters I had come to care for.
However, the sheer level of female badassery in this book more than makes up for it! Trust me, it’s worth any annoying romance angles or personality changes.

Technically abandoned. I stopped reading immediately after the “hiding in a sewer” scene in the last novella… I refuse to read what happened to Sam or the pain Aelin was in when she found out. No one can make me; I will never finish this book.
But you should read it, it’s really good. I’m just weak.
