Woo I did iiiiiitttt!!!!!! I’m really proud of myself because I’m really struggling with my reading this past week or so. I’m desperately trying to avoid this becoming a full-on slump, which is part of the reason I did the read-a-thon at all. I think all-in-all it was successful in motivating me during my almost-slump.

I forgot to post this last night, so here it is now. I was a little discouraged because I didn’t read at all day before yesterday, but I made up for it yesterday by finishing Restore Me. And hopefully today I’ll make some good progress on My Plain Jane to finish the thousand pages.

Getting closer now! If I keep up this pace I’ll make the goal of one thousand pages a full day before the read-a-thon ends. I think that’s pretty good for a person currently in a mild reading slump.
