By: Krysta/2017/02/15/t5w-feb15-2017/comment-page-1/#comment-27Wed, 15 Feb 2017 21:58:06 +0000/?p=2398#comment-27I have so many graphic novel recommendations! 😉 I like El Deafo by Cece Bell (about a middle-school girl who has a hearing aid), Page by Paige by Laura Lee Gulledge (teenage girl moves to new city), Maus by Art Spiegelman (Art tells the story of his father’s experiences in the Holocaust), and Watchmen by Alan Moore (superheroes kind of with mid-life crises?). Nat Turner by Kyle Baker is also very powerful, as is John Lewis’s March trilogy.
